The Decision Support Application (DSAPP) is desktop/mobile compatible software application that we developed for a police department. DSAPP contains a content management system.
DSAPP has a back-end database storage of real-world use case incident scenarios, which are coupled with their associated resolution protocols. DSAPP has front-end retrieval methods that allow an end user to speak or type their search.
The resolution protocols from a user’s search, which are in narrative text format, can either be read by the end user, or listened to through text-to-speech functionality. Some resolution protocols are accompanied by two video animations that display the correct and incorrect way to respond to an incident.
